The second week started off with some powerfully performed elevator pitches, summarising the need, the approach, the benefit and the competition of the developed concepts. Next, Kalle and Alex introduced scenarios and storyboards – two design tools that help to nail down and communicate a concept. The storyboards are now the basis of our videoprototypes.
After three days of initial User Research, we introduced a range of design thinking tools: Affinity Diagrams, Opportunity Mind Map, and HMWs. Each tool was presented by experienced designers and then used in practice in break-out sessions. On the fourth day the teams presented their concept as elevator pitch.
